Pulsar Microwave Corporation is a valued supplier of high quality rf and microwave passive components in the frequency range of DC to 40 GHz. Because of our large library of designs, we are able to provide custom products with little effort and in most cases with no additional price increase above the standard catalog item. New products are introduced on an almost monthly basis, the most recent of which are high power directional couplers and power dividers. Coming shortly are high power switches and low power resistive power dividers. Established in 1987.

New Wide Band 90 Degree Hybrid, 0.5-10 GHz

Pulsar Model QS8-13-463/7 is a 90 degree hybrid covering the frequency range of 0.5 – 10.0 GHz. It has an insertion loss of 2.0 dB, an amplitude of +/- 0.8 dB and a phase balance of +/- 8 degrees. Isolation is 16 dB and VSWR is 1.50:1 max. Average input power is 20 watts. Outline dimensions are 6.10 x 1.00 x 0.40 inches and connectors are SMA female.

200 Watt High Power Dual Directional Couplers

Model C40-22-481/6N and C50-22-481/6N cover the frequency range of 200-2000 MHz with an insertion loss of 0.4 dB. Coupling is 50 +/- 1.0 dB for the C50 and 40 +/- 1.0 dB for the C40, and they have a directivity of 20 dB. The coupling is flat within +/- 1.0 dB across the band and the VSWR is 1.20:1. Maximum input power is 200 watts. Outline dimensions are 3.0 x 2.6 x 1.0 inches and connectors are type N female.

2-Way Power Divider, 1-40 GHz

Pulsar Model PS2-55-450/17S covers the frequency range of 1-40 GHz with 2.8 dB insertion loss, 10 dB isolation from 1-5 GHz and 13 dB from 5-40 GHz, and a maximum VSWR of 1.90:1. Amplitude and phase balance are 0.6 dB and +/- 8 degrees, respectively. Maximum input power is 10 watts. 2.92 female connectors are utilized in a housing with dimensions 2.0 X 1.0 X 0.40 inches.

2-Way Power Divider, 2-40 GHz

Pulsar Model PS2-54-450/18S covers the frequency range of 2-40 GHz with 2.5 dB insertion loss, 13 dB isolation and a maximum VSWR of 1.90:1. Amplitude and phase balance are 0.6 dB and +/- 8 degrees, respectively. Maximum input power is 10 watt. 2.92 female connectors are utilized in a housing with dimensions 1.25 X 1.0 X 0.40 inches.
