Pulsar Microwave Corporation is celebrating its 20th year of supplying high quality rf and microwave passive components in the frequency range of DC to 40 GHz. Because of our large library of designs, we are able to provide custom products with little effort and in most cases with no additonal price increase to the nearest standard catalog item. New products are introduced almost on a monthly basis, the most recent of which are high power directional couplers and power dividers. 500 Watt Combiner, 2-200 MHz

Pulsar Model No. PP2-18-450/22N is a high power combiner that can deliver 500 watts to the sum port over the frequency range of 2-200 MHz, with 0.6 dB insertion loss, 20 dB isolation and VSWR of 1.30:1 max. Amplitude and phase unbalance are 0.3 dB and 5 degrees, respectively. Connectors are N female and the dimensions of the housing are 5.0 X 3.0 X 1.5 inches.

Resistive Power Dividers

New from Pulsar Microwave are multi-octave resistive power dividers designed for broad band test equipment. Model No. RP2-01-411 is a 2-way divider covering the frequency range of DC-10 GHz with 6.8 dB maximum insertion loss, 0.3 dB amplitude, and a maximum VSWR of 1.4:1. Maximum input power is 1 watt. Dimensions are 1.25 X 1.25 X 0.75 inches and SMA connectors are standard.

500 Watt High Power Directional Coupler

Model C50-109-481/1N covers the frequency range of 1-100 MHz with insertion loss of 0.2 dB, coupling of 50+/- 1 dB and directivity of 20 dB. The coupling is flat within +/- 1.0 dB across the band and the VSWR is 1.20:1. Maximum input power is 500 watts. Outline dimensions are 3.0 X 4.0 X 1.5 inches and connectors are type N female.

200 Watt Coupler to 500 MHz

Pulsar Model C40-112-481/5N covers the frequency range of 0.1-500 MHz with a power rating of 200 watts, 40 +/- 1 dB coupling, 0.5 dB insertion loss and 20 dB directivity. Coupling flatness is +/- 0.5 dB and VSWR is 1.2:1. Outline dimensions are 5.0 X 2.0 X 1.2 inches.

250 Watt Coupler to 250 MHz

Pulsar Model C40-111-481/5N covers the frequency range of 0.1-250 MHz with a power rating of 250 watts, 40 +/- 1 dB coupling, 0.4 dB insertion loss and 20 dB directivity. Coupling flatness is +/- 0.5 dB and VSWR is 1.2:1. Outline dimensions are 5.0 X 2.0 X 1.2 inches.

Model PP2-17-450/21N is a new broadband power combiner handling 500 watts at the sum port for the frequency range of 1-500 MHz. Insertion loss is 0.5 dB typical, 0.85 dB max. and minimum isolation is 17 dB. Amplitude and phase balance, respectively, are 0.3 and 5 degrees and VSWR is 1.5:1. Outline dimensions are 3 X 6 X 1.75 inches.
